your cancer on this book in community
hey guys my name is know me my name is
go globe on my channel just recently got
terminated I think it’s time for me to
move on I broke my controllers
controller
welcome back to the next installment of
the history of Call of Duty on YouTube
now if you missed the first part where I
talked about everything up to modern
warfare 2 be sure to check that out I’ll
throw up an annotation and in this video
we’re gonna be covering everything that
went on during the black ops 1 era
what’s black ops 1 can the ability to
monetize call of duty videos on your
channel no longer do you have to give my
[ __ ] in my video have them upload it and
then pay you you can just put it on your
own channel and you can make money off
of it this made so many people upload
actively and brought so many new
youtubers into the game because I mean
money is a huge motivating factor so
there we go all the boring stuff out of
the way let’s jump right into this I
gotta say this black ops 1 had tons of
drama and a majority of this video is
going to be covering drama so sorry
about that it may not seem too
historical and may seem more like a
drama alert video but that’s just what
happened in black ops 1 and we’re to
start it off with wings vs. signa kit
and their 1v1 this 1v1 was sparked
because wings of redemption was talking
trash to Sigma kit wing said he could
beat him in a 1v1 on cod 4 and wings to
redemption even got hosts and still lost
to ipro syndicate
yeah [ __ ] you during black ops 1 is when
the founder of the Call of Duty
commentator blamed truth started
uploading Pokemon and veered away from
call of duty and therefore kind of
caused his success to go downhill what’s
up guys I am pretty pissed off at
Nintendo because I’ve been trying to
have matches and record them for like
the past two days and it keeps Dee
seeing me now YouTube back then was a
lot different than it is today the
youtubes homepage back then was based
off of favorites if your video got a lot
of favorites it would end up on the home
page and if it’s on the home page you’d
get like a hundred thousand subscribers
so many people check the home page it’s
unrealistic so people started to abuse
this people in particular like white Boi
and eggshells they do giveaways they
give away an xbox 360 and a PlayStation
3 and all he had to do all you had to do
to enter was favorite the video and the
video would end up on the home page they
make thousands of dollars off the video
and then give away like a to $300 xbox
and ps3 and we don’t even know if they
actually ended up giving it away for all
we know they could have kept it
themselves and they were just abusing
the system and that’s where white boy
and extras got a lot of their fame
during the time something else I noticed
it’s during black ops 1 is when a lot of
people started using flashy thumbnails
before people didn’t even put thumbnails
up it was just a picture of the call
duty a random moment in the game and
Durham black ops 1 is when people
started doing really off-topic random
commentaries and started using really
view [ __ ] thumbnails which I
shouldn’t really call view [ __ ] I
mean it’s smart but yeah this is one
just the thumbnails just changed
completely
now what if he black ops 1 if I didn’t
mention zombies and in particular when I
think of zombies and black ops 1
syndicate comes to mind
he really sparked the interest in
zombies on YouTube and by uploading this
one video where he got to a 100 plus
round and the video got over 10 million
views he really started to make zombies
explode on YouTube another thing is
hutch decided to leave his full-time job
at machinima which is kind of you know
weird when you think about it why would
you ever leave a job where all you have
to do is make videos about video games
and put it on a YouTube channel but he
decided to leave and not only did he
leave that but for the next half
he didn’t upload to his personal channel
and a lot of people start to feel you
know kind of worried and scared about
what happened to him hello welcome to
respawn from horror alley California I’m
mr. Sark and behind the camera is
Hollywood and tell you guys what’s going
on
so as of the time you guys are watching
this video which will probably be
Wednesday I will be in Sonoma County now
this wouldn’t be the history of black
ops 1 if I did not mention commentator
madness this is a series that
woodysgamertag threw together we had the
top 64 commentators at the time compete
in 1v1 commentator battles now this it
wasn’t like over the gameplay they
weren’t playing won big ones and called
duty it was one key ones based on the
gameplay based on their commentating
skills it was just everything in the
video being taken into account and you
would vote and you know the winner would
go to the next round
and it was just the contest between the
top 64 commentators at the time you
don’t know about Call of Duty
commentator March Madness no is is that
like the basketball tournament
call of duty commentator March Madness
coming your way
the funny thing is just about every
person who is currently famous off a
call of duty competed and commentator
March Madness back in black ops 1 I mean
even people like speedy and deluxe for
all the trollers of today even a bunch
of the people in phase and optic they
competed in this and most of them aren’t
even commentators anymore so it’s just
really weird
listening to them do normal commentaries
hey guys drifter here this is a video
that I made for the March Madness
gameplay comment here are you one of the
many affected by ladders each and every
game are you struggling to climb them
and be intimidated daunted by the height
of ladder thinking what if I fall off
basic stats of ladders in this game you
got to understand them they have a base
help of 1000 points in a max damage of
20 their fire delay is one second now
look up in the top right corner the
better now what we’re gonna do here is
just run around tapping people into
booties I’m just giving a little
background on myself now basically I
came up with this old character from
watching SNL so I’m not gonna bore you
to death I’m just gonna skip straight to
the point there’s 64 youtubers obviously
one on one and then there’s 32 and round
two and then there are sixteen then
there’s eight and four and that it came
down to two final people the sideshow
and fuzzy otter balls and I’ll just let
you see the video where they announced
the winner and yeah what’s up guys my
name is Anthony and I don’t have an
intro and I’m bringing you the very
final breakdown of the very final
matchup in this March Madness tournament
that has been going on for the past four
month
the sideshow and fuzzy otter balls
alright so the sideshow came out as
energetic as ever and he had some modern
warfare 2 gameplay where he had about
three triple kills with the RPG now I
don’t know how somebody couldn’t be
smiling while watching this guy his
commentary was as random and
happy-go-lucky as ever but either way
fuzzies video fell short of the sideshow
and the sideshow will take the
championship trophy hypothetically of
this March Madness tournament so that’s
pretty much commentator March Madness in
a nutshell I didn’t mean to spend too
much time on it but it was a pretty big
deal back then and there you go now
another thing that was going on during
this time is PewDiePie was actually
uploading black ops yes PewDiePie used
to be a Call of Duty youtuber and at
this time PewDiePie hit a hundred
subscribers there in black ops 1 which
is just hilarious because he has like
over 30 million now people 100
subscribers is probably an incident in a
significant number but to means to me it
means a lot so I just want to thank you
guys so much it’s weird enough just
thinking about how PewDiePie used to be
a call duty commentator but FPSRussia
used to also upload Call of Duty videos
on his channel before he started doing
video
where he shot real guns this is a really
old video I found of him doing a dual
comm with someone else got a got a few
machinima posts and got a nice little
channel know a little bit more about
some personal channels is during black
ops 1 sandy ravaged didn’t really upload
that much sandy ravaged was known as one
the best modern warfare 2 players and
then he kind of just stopped he he
didn’t really stop but he wasn’t
uploading black ops 1 that much he
didn’t really enjoy the game and he did
a little bit of the older Call of Duty’s
and then also during this time someone
called Bryce I uploaded a call duty rap
video and this is when Bryce’s channel
started to take off Matt about to set
off an explosive charge I’ll play a
couple games for a couple of threader’s
and customize my character the option
scenes of the endless unlock
achievements and titles
cameras and killstreaks my icon is a
horse with vistas on
beep call my boss right away and told
him to quit I’m making big money winning
all these wager matches now during black
ops 1 people were spitting videos out
left and right uploading one to two
videos every day but someone called
xboxahoy was uploading one video week
and he was doing these insanely in-depth
gun breakdown videos and I personally
actually watched him when I play black
ops 1 and they were just really in-depth
and really good and here’s a little peek
of it hello this is xboxahoy and this is
the 22nd episode of my black ops weapon
guide in this episode we’re covering the
4th SMG the aks-74u it’s a fully
automatic weapon unlocked at level 17
all oh compact in size it fires the same
cartridge as the full sized rifle our
beard from a much shorter barrel this
means the muzzle velocity is lower than
it might be on a larger weapon and bad
with the smaller side radius inhibits
potential accuracy at longer range
so apparently wings redemption faked
suicide he posted something on Facebook
and I don’t remember it was a really
long message but at the end because I
actually read this he said something
like I might as well just kill myself
and a lot of people were calling him out
for doing that you know just for easy
views to draw attention to his channel
someone in particular is white boy who
called him out and the ironic thing is
him and white boy in 2015 do podcast
together and after you watch this
argument you’re about to see it’s really
hard to see how their so-called friends
nowadays and can do a podcast together
when they’re this pissed off at each
other at one point cancer dude come on
you can’t you even said it yourself that
I get maybe a thousand views you relate
why do you give Xboxes away and he said
it was calculated white boy you make so
much more money than me it’s ridiculous
you know no no no no you got me a view
[ __ ] you giveaway Xboxes and
Playstations cards you call me the
cancel in the community but every
[ __ ] dumbass dude I don’t do that
[ __ ] for views if I did that [ __ ] for
views I would do it on my [ __ ]
YouTube channel why don’t you take your
one-eyed ass and learn [ __ ] something
quit smoking pot quit being a [ __ ]
high school dropout
like a [ __ ] person - and your sitters
trying to destroy my livelihood by some
[ __ ] [ __ ] trying to say I did
some beautiful [ __ ] suicide do you
understand the situation you faked the
suicide produce your [ __ ] raw
instinct your [ __ ] g-unit wings this
is what you are this is what you brought
you brought this on yourself because you
need more views wings it’s not all about
the [ __ ] views yeah let’s uh let’s
move on from that something else that
happened during this time is extra
actually said the n-word on a stream and
this actually got a decent amount of
attention apparently people weren’t too
pleased to hear that I mean I guess you
can cuss all you want but whatever you
say the n-word people start to get
seriously offended I hate to bring the
spotlight back to wings but wings it’s
just a part of a lot of drama and
honestly it’s just the funny guy if you
just look at all the stuff he’s involved
in and this is actually a clip of woody
raging at wings on a live stream it’s
kind of funny to me
are you good to me back when you first
met [ __ ] you can win wings you [ __ ]
piece of [ __ ] don’t even act like that
dude
you are [ __ ] air cold they needed the
goddamn truth this is also when ddossing
daxing giving out personal information
started to become a thing and this
happened to minnesotaburns someone let
out all this personal information and
Minnesota just went off on this little
kid and just started threatening the
crap out of them shut the [ __ ] up right
now kid shut your [ __ ] mouth yeah
we’re still gonna go ahead and move
forward legally on you little kid you
gonna make it think you’re gonna be
there’s gonna be an example made out of
you all right you understand that you
understand that this is my business I
make money doing this is what I do for a
living and when you interrupt a business
like that no don’t talk don’t talk all
right
another thing that was going on during
this time is a billionaire decided to
try to host a Call of Duty tournament
between all the top Call of Duty
youtubers kind of similar to commentator
madness but instead of being over the
commentaries it was over gameplay you
know just one day one you know your
typical Cod tournament but a lot of
people ended up backing out at the last
minute you see this is kind of morbid
and a little bit weird but someone said
they’re gonna commit suicide and the
billionaire said hey if I pay you and
pay your family for the rights will you
commit suicide on the livestream you
know the challenge where all these
youtubers are going to be competing and
he legitimately went in to livestream
someone suicide and I just set off a red
flag for all the youtubers and they all
ended up backing out at the last minute
people were offended by the assisted
suicide he made all these videos bashing
game or woody tmartn white boy all these
people backed out they would fly me out
to LA tomorrow
stay there for two days and given and I
would be given $500 for an appearance
fee so it sounds like a pretty good deal
because you know $500 that’s like two
weeks worth of pay just for one day and
I get to go to some billionaires man to
play video games I decided not to go
obviously the money would have been nice
and that’s pretty much all that happened
in the billionaires challenge but there
was three tournaments that went on
during the black ops one era there was
commentator March Madness and I already
explained all that
there’s the billionaires challenge you
just heard about and then there was
commentator showdown
taters showdown was when they took the
top youtubers put them all in a
free-for-all match and just saw who
would win game dunzo and filmon.com
and they put up some prize money so the
top three places got fifteen hundred one
thousand and five hundred dollars which
is kind of neat you know and make sure
that everyone puts their trihard pants
on people so i wanted to talk about this
you know in terms of you doesn’t really
show who the best player is and you know
and not exactly you know it’s not
perfect like one thing is for sure every
time I cook the nay died I died it’s
just when there’s twelve people or I
guess 11 other people shooting at you
you can’t cook nades that’s one thing I
learned so it does this really show who
the best player is and it not exactly
but kind of it is my answer on there so
marker j1 the commentator showdown and
that pretty much wraps up everything
that went on during black ops 1
like I said majority this video was
drama but that’s what happened during
this time many youtubers were already
established there wasn’t too many new
people popping up so this was just you
know people continuing their channels
and the drama that went on during that
time if you enjoyed the video leave a
like and tell me if you want to part 3
over modern warfare 3 that’s pretty much
all hopefully you enjoyed what you do to
get back
