what’s up guys today we’re gonna be

talking about the youtube dream but

before we talk about that i need to

mention two things real quick the

gameplay you’re gonna be watching i have

no clue what it is so it could be good

it could be bad i don’t really know and

then also you might hear my computer

just a little bit in the background it’s

been on all day and after i upload this

video i’m definitely going to give it a

huge break so if you hear that just a

little bit or just hear you know a

little annoying sound in the background

it’s my computer i apologize it’s

getting a little hot and i’m definitely

going to give it a break when i’m done

with this but anyways we’re gonna be

talking about the youtube dream now you

know everyone when they start their

channel they expect to blow up overnight

and pretty much within a couple of

months have a million subscribers and

have millions upon millions of views and

we all know that’s not true but for some

reason myself included everyone who

starts their channel it feels like

immediately overnight they’re going to

become a youtube celebrity so the reason

i’m talking about this is i found my old

ipod touch underneath my bed it was

probably like second gen one of the

really really old ipod touches and i

hadn’t used in years it was just sitting

under my bed i don’t know why i came

across it i saw it so i went and grabbed

my sister’s ipad charger and

surprisingly it fit and i turned on the

ipod and sure enough when i was

scrolling through it just playing some

of the old games i used to play i came

across my notes and actually had a

section of notes entitled youtube that’s

all it said and the only thing i had in

there was hit a thousand subs and hit a

hundred thousand views and i wrote those

notes back when i was 12 about to turn

13 and the notes just said get a

thousand subs and it was just youtube

goals and all it said under it was a

thousand subs and a hundred thousand

views and so i don’t know i just kind of

started thinking about that how when i

was 12 my youtube goals was to get a

hundred thousand views and a thousand

subs and how i broke him both of those

goals by quite a bit and i don’t know it

just it made me feel funny when i read

that i was just like whoa you know i

wrote that when i was 12 and it said my

goal was to get a thousand subs and here

i am with over a thousand subs

when i was 12 i got my first pc my first

computer that i owned all to myself it

was actually a laptop and one of the

first things i did on it was i started

making youtube videos and i uploaded

minecraft videos they were horrible i

did mod reviews and they were just

terrible the sound quality was bad

because i didn’t have a headset i was

using the built-in microphone and this

the quality of it was like 480p and

i don’t know i just really enjoyed

making videos back then and they were on

a different channel they weren’t on this

one my first video on this channel i

think is almost three years old now and

they were crappy

minecraft videos that i made with my

first laptop but some of my really

really old videos are on a channel that

i deleted a while ago i don’t i actually

don’t remember why i quit uploading to

that channel but nonetheless i’m pretty

i i mean i like this channel it has a

thousand subs which is pretty nice and

gets tons of views every month this

channel actually i’m averaging almost 30

000 views a month which is pretty crazy

and i’m not making that up you can go

check social blade if you want to which

uh 30 000 views a month is a lot more

than i ever thought i’d get and so uh

that’s pretty cool anyways i don’t

really know where i was planning on

going with this video but i just i

thought it was pretty cool that when i

was 12 my youtube dream was to hit a

thousand subscribers and have a hundred

thousand views both of which i’ve

completely smashed i have almost 1400

subscribers and i have well over 200 000

views so it’s pretty cool that

theoretically i’ve reached my 12 year

old youtube dream even though i’m now 16

it only took four years i technically

met my goal from when i was a little 12

year old and i don’t know i just i

thought that was cool it was really

unique how i found my ipod and it still

worked and then i somehow came across

that note page and

a lot of people when they start their

channels like i said earlier they expect

to get big overnight and then the more

you do youtube the more you realize how

hard it is to get views and then uh i

don’t know i don’t really want to go

into it but i just wanted to tell you

guys i saw that uh note i wrote when i

was 12 and i thought it was kind of

funny how i theoretically met my youtube

dream but uh anyways that’s pretty much

that hopefully you have a nice day and
