and thinking this can’t be true but in a

way the title of this video is actually

pretty true and I don’t know why I’m

pointing up there because over half my

views are on mobile so it’s actually

down there knowledge so to cut straight

to the point the best way to get free

unlimited subscribers is controversy

controversy equals views on YouTube

case in point Sam pepper did an Isis

kidnapping prank and someone else did a

Minecraft School shooting video is the

videos are so controversial they know

that when people read that title they’re

gonna click on it and they’re gonna tell

other people if you want views on

YouTube sadly the best way is just to do

something so stupid something so

ridiculous that people have to click on

that video and they have to tell people

about it I’m gonna say it again because

I want you to remember it

controversy equals views if you really

want views do something stupid it will

get views that’s how YouTube works you

see when you upload that video some

other youtubers gonna watch it and if it

is really stupid it is purely stupid

like that

Isis pranking this you know minecraft

school shooting that youtubers gonna

make a video on it then other youtubers

will see that and make videos on it and

they’re gonna tell other people they’re

gonna tweet about they’re gonna share it

people are gonna talk about it

controversy is views let me say it again

controversy on YouTube is how you get

views and views equals subscribers no I

can’t know I kind of want to change the

topic a little bit and talk about our

response to controversial things because

obviously this minecraft school shooting

video only has 200,000 plus views and

all his other videos in that let’s play

only have a hundred thousand plus views

because we gave it that attention you

know some of the blame honestly falls on

us for bringing so much attention to it

and the Sam peppers Isis prank video

someone’s started a petition to have

that video removed that petition has

over a hundred thousand signers do you

think those hundred thousand people saw

the video know most of those signers saw

someone shared the petition on social

media like what’s this hooked up the

video watched an ad watch the video then

signed the petition like all this stuff

we’re doing uh it’s just it’s just

giving them attention we’re just playing

into it

don’t take me out of context I’m not

saying that’s the only way to get

noticed like freakin faze rain has two

million subscribers he’s the most

genuine and you know non-misleading

person on youtube and he’s pretty big so

you can obviously get somewhere on

YouTube being you know normal and stuff

I’m just saying if you really want views

sadly the truth is you got to do

something so stupid and controversial

that other people have to talk about it

and when they talk about it that’s just

more views for you and it’s just gonna

keep repeating itself and it’s just the

world we live in you know we’re we’re

obsessed with violence we’re obsessed

with that type of stuff and we don’t

really we shed light on the when people

do good things but we don’t shed light

on it enough not as much as we talk

about negative things so there you go
