spam 404 is responsible for taking down

over five million YouTube videos not

five million views

five million different videos and the

way they do this is they mask flag a

video you see if you flag a video if you

report a video on your own

YouTube’s never going to see it just

that one report it’s just never going to

show up on youtubes radar but if you

report that video a bunch of times of

multiple accounts then YouTube will

actually review the video some of the

most impressive achievements if

impressive is the right word is they

actually took down one of pewdiepies

videos as crazy as that seemed you know

people think PewDiePie’s immune not even

PewDiePie is immune to spam 404 they

removed half a billion views from

machinima Austin pamaj old face pamaj he

lost videos to them and he actually took

to Twitter he was like why didn’t you

notify me before you flagged on my

videos and got a bunch of my videos

taken down and they said they had no way

of contacting pamaj pamaj said why don’t

you just email me at my business email

because in case you guys don’t know

every freaking YouTube channel has a

business email in their about page yet

spam 404 doesn’t you know notify these

channels they just flag them get these

videos taken down ruin people’s careers

ruin people’s channels and they they’re

like oh thanks for the advice Smosh will

take that into consideration like for

real you literally have people’s careers

in your hand they’ve removed over 5

million videos that’s 5 million

different times someone’s gone on their

channel realize they lost the video and

just gotten depressed because they lost

hours of hard work and all they have to

do is just you know send a email

notifying people to change the

descriptions to change stuff as I

guarantee you half the time people don’t

even realize that they’re in violation

the thing I hate about spam 404 is

anyone can report videos to them so if

you find someone you hate chances are if

you go to some of their first videos

when they weren’t as educated on

YouTube’s Terms of Service you can just

report one their first couple of videos

to spam for four and get that video

removed and you know if you get three of

their videos removed they lose their

channel they can never get their channel

back and it’s just so frustrating ah not

frustrating I mean none of my videos are

in violation I went through checked on

my descriptions but it’s just you know

crazy like how much power they have and

I’d love to hear you guys opinions on it

this video was kind of short I just

wanted to raise awareness of spam for

four because not many people really know

what they are they have their own

website and they mainly operate through

Twitter if you want to check them out
