really what’s up guys today we’re going

to be talking about

how to get active subscribers on youtube

and i already know a lot of you guys are

going to ask why am i wearing a tie

well it’s actually because i have a

basketball game like really soon so i

kind of have to rush through this video

for some reason i just want to try to

upload a video every single day during

2016.

will that happen probably not but i

don’t know it just seems too early to

give up on that or

to you know skip a day and miss out on

that so yes i

this video is going to be a little bit

rushed i know quality over quantity but

i just have a basketball game really

soon and i just want to get a video out

just because

i i just i don’t know i just really want

to see if i can do that every single day

during 2016. anyways let’s define what

active subscribers are

i watch a lot of youtube i know a lot

about youtube i pay attention to a lot

of youtube stats

and a lot of people get this feeling you

know that if a person with a million

subscribers

only gets like a hundred thousand views

per video that that’s bad but you know

one tenth of your subscribers watching

your video isn’t bad for instant

for instance pewdiepie has 41 million

subscribers

and gets two and a half million views

per video that’s like you know 13 out of

every like 14 of his subscribers don’t

even watch his videos

and like markiplier has like 11 million

subscribers and only gets a million

views per video

or jacksepticeye has 8 million

subscribers and gets over a million

views per video

but a lot of people don’t understand

that you know if ten percent

if just ten percent of your subscribers

watch every single video

that’s actually really active

subscribers now what i’m about to say is

definitely by no means facts and

honestly has very little proof to back

it up but this is just something i

noticed this is kind of a chart

i’m going to give you guys and like i

said this is no by no means facts you

know

and something a lot of you guys got to

take into account you know if you upload

for a long period of time but going

active then of course your subscribers

are gonna

you know gonna go inactive there are a

lot of reasons why channels have

inactive subscribers and you kind of

gotta keep that in mind so to put that

in perspective if you have a hundred

thousand subscribers and you’re getting

five thousand or less views per video

then you need to change something up

you’re not really doing that well if

you’re getting five to ten thousand

views per video you’re kind of average

if you’re getting 10 000 or more views

per video then you’re doing pretty good

keep it up and if you’re getting 20

000 views or more per video more than 20

000 views per video

then you’re doing amazing don’t change

anything just keep doing that and like i

said there’s not much proof to back up

what i’ve said

but that’s just something i’ve noticed

when i watch a lot of channels like

typically

10 if 10 of your subscribers are active

that’s average that’s how

a lot of channels are and you know a lot

of smaller channels with you know like

a thousand or less subscribers are gonna

be like well i get two to three hundred

views per video that’s inaccurate well

yeah you’re super small and a lot of

your subscribers are super new

but the reason subscribers going active

is because you know people die people

make new youtube accounts

honestly people are subscribed to so

many people that sometimes they just

don’t click on your videos

like there’s a lot of factors that come

into this and that’s why literally only

one out of every 10 people

who subscribe to you are actually going

to watch you now here are some tips to

help make your subscribers

more active now tip number one now tip

number one is something i don’t follow

which is why i

actually don’t have that active of

subscribers is like

centralize your content make your

content focused on one type of thing

you know for instance i do a worst intro

series and then i do videos about my

laptop and then i do random videos like

this and rants and

my content’s all over the place which is

why people sub for certain things like

my worst intros videos will get three to

four thousand views but this rant’s

probably gonna get a thousand views

and so you know keep your content

focused on one thing so people subscribe

for you for one thing

if you know if you want active

subscribers that’s the best way another

tip is to get your subscribers to engage

with your other social media

because you know sometimes you might

upload a video and they might miss it

because they didn’t check their sub box

well if you get them to follow you on

twitter or get them to like your

facebook page or

google if you get people to interact

with your other social media there’s a

better chance that they’ll see when you

upload and a better chance

in the end that they’ll watch it and be

more active and that’s another thing i

fail at

and something i’m gonna try to do trying

to incorporate

uh my twitter and you know twitter i

don’t really use facebook more of my

videos

or just give you guys incentives to go

follow me or something like that and

then obviously every time you

and then obviously every time you make a

video keep in mind quality over quantity

quality over quantity i know that’s kind

of hypocritical because of what i said

the beginning of this video

but quality over quantity make every

video so good

that if it was your last video you’d be

okay with it that didn’t really make

sense

but you get the point you know try to

make every video

that viral video that will make your

channel and then you know people notice

that type of stuff people notice the

little things you do in your video

you know and uh so try to get people to

engage with your other social media

try to centralize your content so people

know what to expect

and then what i just said uh make every

video really good put lots of effort

into every video and those are three

tips to help you get active subscribers

and two of them i never do and i’m

probably gonna try to start doing

that’s partly why i’m making this video

because i was doing research on some of

this stuff

i don’t really incorporate my twitter or

facebook and my videos and that would

help people notice when i upload

and i am really random and i’m gonna

stay random because i don’t care

i’d rather have fun on youtube than have

active subscribers but that’s just me

other people are different

and anyways i got a basketball game to

go to and i’m probably gonna be late

because i’m gonna edit this video and uh

yeah i gotta be there like really soon
