the bridge you’re gonna be looking at in

this video was built over a hundred

years ago back before there were

standards about how high off the ground

a bridge had to be why is this important

well this bridge is actually below 12

feet tall which means most trucks which

are twelve feet at some point will end

up hitting the top of their truck

against the bottom of the bridge and you

know instead of fixing the problem you

know hiring the bridge putting up more

signs instead we have a guy who sets up

two cameras that permanently record the

bridge 24/7 and records trucks just

ramming into the bridge and just ripping

off the top of the trucks and yeah it’s

like frickin funniest could be Jesse

fully understand what’s going on a guy

made a website called 11-foot eight calm

and the sole purpose of the website is

to upload a video every time a truck

smashes into this bridge that is below

the standards because it is so old now

as funny as this is I mean I literally

could watch these videos all day just

watching Cardiff or ham into a bridge

it’s hilarious and there’s plenty of

warning signs up well I’ll show you guys

the warning signs at a minute people do

end up getting concussions from this

people smash their heads against the

steering wheel people have been hurt

from doing this and then on top of that

insurance won’t cover the cost you know

for your car I mean what are you gonna

tell them tell your insurance agent I

ran into a bridge can you know fix my

truck so it’s it does have a huge

negative effect on many people’s lives

of this bridge but it is like freakin

hilarious guys could be I love watching

it and I’m actually gonna take you guys

to Google Maps right now and show you

what the signs look like coming up to

the bridge and you can determine whether

or not the people are just pure stupid

or they need to put up more signs or you

know just make the bridge higher what’s

up guys were on Google Maps I apologize

this is the street leading to the bridge

so imagine we’re truck we’re just going

down the street slowly going down let’s

go up here here comes the first few

signs see you see ya let’s go a little

bit closer there’s a sign right there

that says 11 - 8 11 - 8 but you know I’m

a truck driver I’m just gonna ignore it

let’s just keep going Yolo and we keep

heading look at all these signs up here

I mean let’s see what these say says 11

• 8 11 foot 8 over height when flash

those lights even flash if you’re over

height and then people still ignore it

they just keep going and boom they hit

this bridge right here that thing right

there you can see all the wear and tear

from all the trucks that I’ve rammed

into it it’s uh it’s hilarious so yeah

this is the infamous bridge known for

destroying countless trucks probably

over a hundred trucks it’s pretty funny

I mean this is absolutely hilarious but

I mean people do get hurt when they ram

into it but it’s just it’s so funny and

how the guy has two cameras permanently

recording this whoever thought of that

idea is just a genius and whoever made

the website and all that that’s just

that’s really smart but yet this is the

bridge where you just see cars just go

right there and lose the top of their

truck it’s quite hilarious let me know
