so i spend all this time talking about

how much the top tier youtubers make the

top one percent like pewdiepie and

vanoss and i always talk about how they

make millions of dollars but i’ve never

really you know talked about the

majority of people because in fact a lot

of people make a living off youtube you

know you don’t need to make a million

dollars a year to do youtube as a job in

fact last year the average income for an

american household was 46 000 quick side

note though almost half of america’s

currency is controlled by the top one

percent so the term richer get richer is

literally true when almost half of our

currency is controlled by the top one

percent of people you know the ceo of

businesses and things like that but

anyways we’re gonna figure out how many

people make more than forty six thousand

dollars a year off of youtube because

then statistically speaking they’re

above average and could theoretically do

youtube as a job so uh let me pull up my

notes forty six thousand dollars to get

that much money per year you need to be

getting roughly 35 million views per

year so if you get 35 million views per

year you’re gonna make forty six

thousand dollars per year and you will

you know meet the average income

standards for america so pretty much

here’s the main point of the entire

video if you get 35 million views per

year that means on average you’re gonna

make more than forty six thousand

dollars per year off of youtube and if

you’re making more than forty six

thousand dollars then by american

standards you’re making an above above

average you know yearly wage through a

job so pretty much here’s the number

you’ve been waiting for

the amount of people that get more than

35 million views per year is

6481 people so over 6 000 people make 46

grand or more off of youtube per year 6

000 people make enough money off of

youtube to do it as a job uploading

videos to the internet by themselves

make enough money to do it as a job and

after hearing that number that 6 000

people can do youtube as a job it’s kind

of inspirational and a little bit

motivational because you know if that

many people are able to you know reach

that goal then there’s a good chance you

know i can meet there’s a good chance

you can meet it if you’ve ever thought

about making a youtube channel or just

want to do it for fun you should you

know you should really go through with

it because there’s a decent chance you

could get somewhere off of it like those

6481 people did that i was talking about

earlier but that’s pretty much

everything i pretty much ran you through

everything multiple times throughout

this video so just let me know what you

think i thought it was a pretty

interesting stat and just wanted to

share with you guys how over 6 000

people theoretically making enough money

off of youtube that they could live off

of it and that’s a lot just for you know

uploading videos to the internet
