so today we’re going to be talking about

is youtube hard like being a youtuber is

that hard

and honestly is it worth doing you see

occasionally you’ll come across a

youtuber who in their videos says

youtube is hard work and then if you go

to the comments section you’ll see

hundreds and hundreds of people saying

youtube’s not hard work youtube’s super

easy there’s nothing hard about it

and yeah in terms of physical labor

obviously yes

youtube is not that physically demanding

but something a lot of people forget

about is the sacrifices youtubers have

to make

let’s be real here it takes years upon

years of uploading every single day

before you get your first legitimate

paycheck from youtube or at least in my

case

and that’s how it is for majority of

people hours

upon hours day after day after day

for months to get your first couple

subscribers years to get your first

couple thousand subscribers into

i mean if people don’t realize yes

youtube’s not hard work but it does

require a ton of sacrifice and it’s a

huge commitment

so to answer the question is youtube

hard work or is youtube hard

no physically wise it is not hard but if

you think about the sacrifices and all

the other stuff you have to give up

i mean there are two days last week

where i didn’t upload because it

literally came

down to do i want to play basketball or

do i not want to play and use that time

to make videos

i decided to play basketball and not

upload those days it’s sacrifices if you

really want to maintain a daily

uploading schedule

and yes in my opinion youtube is hard

work

but to some of you guys it might not be

because like i said

it’s not physical labor but you can’t

think about it that way you got to think

about all the sacrifices people make

to spend literally hours a day behind

their computer just editing videos

it’s really a huge sacrifice and that to

me makes it hard

but the other thing i wanted to talk

about is is but the other

about is is youtube worth it is it worth

investing all that time

you see typically most youtubers fall

into one of two categories either you

want fame or you want money

yeah fame or money those are typically

the two main reasons why people do

youtube if your motive for doing it is

money then you’re not really gonna get

anywhere because like i said it took me

years to get my first legitimate

paycheck if uh

youtube money is your motive for doing

youtube videos you’re honestly not gonna

get anywhere because it’s just gonna

take so long

and to be honest even though i’ve made

quite a bit of money off of this it’s

all gone back into the setup this green

screen those lights that computer that

camera this microphone that stand

all of this is expensive and uh yeah so

if you’re doing it for money please just

save your time you’re honestly wasting

your time because

it’s going to be years before you see

any kind of uh profit off of youtube

and it’s still going to be kind of

little because i mean i could have got a

job at mcdonald’s and made more money in

the

one day than i’ve profited off this

channel because like i said

everything i’ve made off of this has

gone straight back into the channel

so like i said if you’re doing it for

money no don’t do it it’s not worth your

time

but if you’re trying to become famous or

you know you actually enjoy editing

videos you know seeing response and uh

just seeing people’s feedback on your

videos then yes youtube would probably

be worth your

time if you have lots of free time just

time where you watch tv

or you know play video games quit

watching tv quit playing video games

spend that time making videos and it is

well worth your time because

you never know you could actually make

it uh you know just find something you

really enjoy something you’re really

passionate about make videos on it

and i promise you hundreds of thousands

of other people enjoy that and will

watch your videos

and uh yeah you i mean i can’t guarantee

you hundreds of thousands of people

watch your videos but i guarantee you

hundreds

of thousands of other people uh enjoy

that type of stuff you know whether or

not you can get the content to them

is the hard part so to sum the video up

is youtube hard work in my opinion yes

because of the sacrifices not really

um you know pertaining to the physical

part of it but the sacrifices you have

to make yes

and is it worth your time well it

depends if you’re doing it for money

no youtube is not worth your time it’s

not worth doing but if you’re doing it

for fame

or because you enjoy it uh yes it’s

worth your time give up tv give up video

games invest that time into making

videos and it will definitely be a good

investment of your time

because i’ve already seen a lot of

return and money by the time i put into

this

and um yeah that’s pretty much the video

sorry about how short that was but look

i got a mic stand it’s uh right there so

i can like

do all these hand gestures during my

videos it’s kind of cool

and let me know what you guys think

about my setup uh still getting the

lighting and stuff down but i think it

looks uh pretty cool

um i it’s ridiculous i pretty much

turned my entire room into a studio for

youtube

uh man how many people with eight

thousand subs do you know i

have a setup like this for youtube

videos it’s kind of

crazy and weird at the same time let me
