I got a really good scare this morning

so when I woke up I was on my Galaxy

Tablet just scrolling through my videos

by the way my Galaxy Tablet is signed

into a different YouTube account and

signed into my old one and I was just

looking at my videos and I noticed one

was missing and that video I knew had a

clip from ksi in it

so the second I was scrolling through my

videos on my main channel and I noticed

one of the videos wasn’t there and I

know that video has some clips from

other people and I was like crap do I

get a copyright strike so I got out of

bed and I slowly walked to my computer I

was just like holy crap I just screwed

up my channel and this image on your

screen is the first thing I saw when I

got on my youtube channel this morning

so no just let me put it out there I did

not get a copyright strike and Thank You

ksi it was a clip from ksi had in the

video which is why it was claimed and

pretty much chaos I could have either

chose to give me a copyright strike or

just block the video worldwide which

means I still keep the video but no one

outside of my account can see it so it’s

pretty much like a private video and

Thank You ksi we’re not giving me a

copyright strike for being nice and just

blocking a worldwide I really appreciate

that and yes like he literally could

have made it where if anyone used his

content if like the YouTube’s algorithms

picked up his content he could have made

it work YouTube automatically gave him a

strike but instead Kisise a good dude

and he made it where I only got the ID

claimed and it’s only blocked worldwide

which does not affect my account as long

as it does not happen again within the

next 30 days so that’s pretty cool and I

appreciate that kiss side thank you I

knew I shouldn’t have used that clip I

don’t know why I’m an idiot but got me

thinking like I’m not a hundred percent

sure what happens if I actually did get

a copyright strike like I’ve kind of

heard rumors and heard other people talk

about him and I like how there were this

horrible thing so I started googling it

and you know just looking up what

happens when you get a copyright strike

and a lot of different people were

saying different things in the videos I

watch so I remembered YouTube has an

information page so I’m just going to

read you straight off of the YouTube

information page what happens when you

get a copyright strike you cannot upload

videos as unlisted you cannot upload

videos longer than 15 minutes you can no

longer use creative common licenses you

cannot use a video programming no custom

thumbnails no live streaming or live

event

you can no longer dispute Content ID

claims you cannot share private videos

you cannot use YouTube video editor and

the most important thing to a lot of

youtubers is you cannot make money off

of your videos through - monetization

while I just started my don’t feel like

starting over you can no longer monetize

your videos which means for six months

till your you know strike goes away when

you get a strike you have it for six

months you cannot put ads on your videos

now if YouTube is your job that would

suck a lot if I’ve got a copyright

strike which like I said I did not

he just blocked a worldwide which I’m

very grateful you did that kiss side but

if I did get a copyright strike that

means for the next six months I would

not be able to put ads in my videos so I

make like 15 20 bucks a month so that

would ultimately cost me like 105

dollars no big deal

but to people who are making thousands

of dollars that’s a huge deal so that

would suck really bad so pretty much to

wrap the video up I’m gonna go ahead and

end on this you can resolve a copyright

strike like if I can’t side digging a

copyright strike he does have the

ability to take it away if he was you

know in a good mood or like I said

earlier you can wait six months and it

will expire or you could submit a

counter and you know end up going to

court somewhere in California and

settling it in court those are the three

ways that you can deal with a copyright

strike but I didn’t get one so no big

deal it’s all over I deleted the video

it’s all said and done and that’s pretty

much what happens if you get a copyright

strike I didn’t know so I did some

research and I decided to share it with
