okay so let’s get started so welcome ah
Scott
pleasure to meet you finally I saw you
before and after amazing before and
after by the way so I just wanted to
call you in dialogue and see how you did
it and I guess you were mentioning you
were trying to do with exercise at first
right yes yeah um so I don’t add this a
waste problem because of being a
millennia I have I been I said a lot on
the fast food and all the processed food
so and all the all the die all the sodas
the Coke and Pepsi so I already have the
tendency to gain weight and - sugar is
more evil when you’re growing up it’s
actually a treat so if you don’t know
why you’re getting the way where did you
grow up obvious where I I grew up in
India so I’m presently a new day I spend
some time in Mumbai so if it’s mainly
there but um the junk food is everywhere
and I think cos I’ve never been too far
out of the country but I I guess in my
mind I’m thinking if you go to India
it’s all clean food all healthy food is
that a falsehood no that’s that’s a
polka at least for the people who know
that ketosis life now I know it
it is a falsehood and it’s essentially
just repulsive because no matter what
carbohydrates and sugar they are part of
everyone’s life and it’s it’s sometimes
we think about it I think we all when I
read one of the book end here most of
our ketosis stuff is quite closely
related to evolution so I think we all
survived because of carbohydrates
because if we are all meat eaters it’ll
be a little tough so we all survived but
I think it has really coiled our genes
and you know with the tendons regain
weight it’s just quite fast so so of
course our boys is a very important part
of our diet in India we have a lot of
different kind of breads rice lentils
since all cups and we have like amazing
deserts
oh so and is the street is the street
when you do something good you have some
business so so that’s uh you eventually
gain weight you know and I think I had a
pretty average gene that I had to work
really hard on my workouts specifically
running in order to just maintain my
weight so I hand around a scale of
weight which I thought is perfect but I
was kind of overweight even in that that
range but then of course I change my
diet and and it’s 5 million able to get
into a weight which was this was this
was good for my height and of age so so
how long ago did you kind of start this
process of going oh wow
ketosis I’m going to try this oh yeah so
I try to control my weight I think
Ellison let me give you some background
however I control it before Oh get me to
a keto diet so ever since my a later PA
and during my mid-20s I’m right now
exactly Cody
so the Tillman is 20 everything to
control my weight with running I bought
a treadmill but of course my diet was
was just a regular diet with cars and
sugar and you know Harry tea and coffee
just a lot of sugar I liked it amber I
you should run a lot but however for
almost twelve thirteen years I I stopped
having facts because that’s the most
logical thing again gaining fat so I
should stop eating back so I had no
butter no ghee the mochi a very little
meat being eat mainly chicken Knox
mutton or any other kind of firm meat
because of cholesterol and all those
things which are associated with red
meat and eggs and I try to work out
which is forming in order to control my
weight and even after controlling it I
could I was always in the range between
70 to 75 so if I instead issue point 5 I
used to think I’m healthy and fit and
I’m reached 75 base quickly then again
I’ll start working I would spend a
considerable amount of my daily running
but then two years back of what am i
another colleague cut off members
he was also struggling with weight and
he came across this book called
why did he get fat what to do about it
have you heard about it uh okay that is
a book he came across and he shared it
with me he gave a long lecture about it
and I went through it I have a story you
know I read through all of these can I
read that book and I was totally by the
science of it I was totally amazed I
fell it up by what some lectures on
YouTube I started following your channel
with your daily videos and as they have
I think your videos on out I think we
get two videos a day so I regularly
watch your video and you know I started
getting the whole doctrine of ketosis
sorry getting into me and I started
following Jesus around two years back
one and a half two years back and for
three months I followed it very very
religiously identical to exercise
because it has compared that exercise
not that important I think I in even in
your lectures you say that running in
American is not a good thing right
jogging and right and I think it says
like the exercise is about 15 if we look
at 15 percent 85 percent its diet
exercise is 15 percent
yeah right and I remember one of your
videos you actually described that it
won’t help you your old age because it
is running marathons and we will impact
on knees and we might suffer a lot
during girl in our old days we can do it
right now a young but later on we will
have bad impact on face so if we I mean
backfire so religiously followed it and
within three months I lost significant
weight come 75 my talk was terrified and
at that time I even whisper running it
was not getting control so I built a
died within three three and a half
months I lost from 75 to 63 that was
swell kgs in 3 months if I think it
would be around the 25 pounds so that
was significant but of course in last in
one year I would say that I have
even this died I have evolved this guide
like when I started I
misinterpreted it as vo cops and high
fat and high protein but then of course
it impacts your liver right and I think
in one of your I think today’s video I
don’t wanna bug you us talk about the
fatty liver spot right so it impact a
little so I tweak I I continue to tweak
the diet and involves it by increasing
vegetables and then lowering down the
meats to one meal and of course eggs I
really like egg so I have so this was
this was the whole diet part of course
the benefits it will not just limit it
to too much to my big loss when I added
butter and and G and cheese to my diet
so I had a very dry skin imagine company
not having fat for 1213 years I had a
very terrible dry skin no matter how
much awesome greens are used it’s not
gonna help but suddenly I did you see
this brightness it is all natural so
there’s no cream no Eddie soaks up and
all my friends tell me that you know I
look significant younger then what I was
just being at a half pack so they were
modest this is not limited to weight
loss and and and and decide that I I
have I have a very of a kind of a
stressful job long cause and all but my
productivity has increased um it’s like
12 o’clock at night but my Energy’s
really not gone I can still work couple
of hours more
so I think it has also hate me or
professionally wow I just want to make
one point one point one guy for those
people that are watching that it don’t
know we’re talking about he started
something called the ketogenic diet but
he’s been watching my videos been to I
tweaked the ketogenic diet I add a lot
of vegetables to it
we like to graduate into it and not jump
into so many fats and they want to
moderate amount of protein but as far as
what it could do for your skin and for
your energy ketones basically as a
byproduct of fat and ketones are more
efficient they’re less stressful they
produce less waste they help with your
cognitive function
so those you that are watching you may
want to try this eating plan but go
ahead and he started this whole thing
it was very radically different diet
which lot of people have their they had
their whole childhood and their growth
on the standard pyramid which we see
beside carbohydrate as very integral
called and sugar as a legal drug which
we all love which I don’t love now but
not a lot of people to this was very
tough but I think even my colleague and
a lot of my close friends I was able to
influence them like I was influenced by
what Michael E we influence them and
cumulatively all a lot of people in our
group because it’s more like it was more
like a social experiment we were able to
polish each other and similar give me be
lost a lot of kgs a lot of help Katie
and and of course you know working the
same list or really the paint official
watching the same videos and you know we
all have a small group and smoking
slowly it’s very popular so it is
becoming more easier you know like you
get options to eat even outside you know
like like it just year and a half or two
years back I could never see things
which were like low carbs or zero carbs
but now you can find things which are
like that you can find salad dressings
with Chef which are either no sugar fish
as which are not soybeans and are a
number Soviet operation Wow I know that
in India they use GMO just like an
America right and did you do also in a
minute fasting yes I do yes I did so uh
earlier I didn’t know what was this term
for this but I was when when when I when
I got into my ketosis I think I got it
really fast like in you know V equal to
when I initially started but I did feel
that hungry so I grabbed my be like
eight o’clock nine o’clock at night and
my next meal was in X noon all around
one BMX day however later on when I so
it was not like exactly the mental
fasting like 15 hours no food only
liquids like coffee or tea black tea ah
but I’m thinking I was doing for quite
some time like a 14r of no food and then
having go kind of for seven to page four
for my two meals of the day um so but
later on I will be second to sixteen
ours and the intermittent fasting is is
totally I started the Venice or yoga
views paleo there is no other literature
in which I knew body term enticing but I
always call it it’s kind of to pushing
myself but but then I saw and oddly I
been to a lot of your videos back to
back like a marathon in order to study
cortisone and in order to but I don’t
know if I had some stress issues or
cortisol issue but but I don’t I really
like this topic you know the whole
growth hormone and the number how
cortisol secretion every now and then
and I deal in high-pressure jobs it if
something happens and then I started
practicing intermittent fasting or in
the more of sixteen hours and then I ate
our window a thing so yes that that was
really helpful like believe Victor I
don’t know what are the more results I
think I’ll see it as I practice it over
yours yeah so let’s say for example your
first meal give me an example of what
you would eat in your first meal so the
first meal of the day is usually my
first meal is around 1 p.m. that is more
like a lunch
plus my breakfast so I had eggs in it I
have a salad which is primarily cucumber
and tomatoes I don’t commit also note
that keto friendly but but that’s the
option I have come down I have celery
like a small salad I have a bowl of cold
because that that keeps my gut really o
healthy
so there’s nothing in the car so it’s
blank the man is a bit of salts you know
like curd is that it like a probiotic or
what what is courage Oh God it’s it’s
not a it’s a bee it’s like yogurt or but
uh yeah so that it’s mostly played which
I have and beside that what else I
usually have like a piece of chicken or
Marcus motivated available so this is
usually my lead or the first me and but
acts of course I have a black coffee in
the morning with the with some coconut
oil wow that’s amazing so so let’s say
that it’s going to ask you and then for
dinner
is it a similar meal or is it different
except the eggs it’s mostly similar the
only difference is that I add a
vegetable of instead of eggs so these I
just sauteed vegetables or some
traditional Indian vegetable so which
are very spicy and pretty delicious so
you can easily have it and come to my
wife so my wife’s hair has experimented
so many dishes because of because of my
diet so she keeps reinventing like I
recently saw zucchini noodles you know
and I was a showing or we used to cook
big zucchini noodles like a year and a
half back and I really love it because
it’s like a like a spaghetti but but
what shall we say I love it too
have you ever been to the US other out
of the English so they have Indian
restaurants and I would imagine it’s
probably not the same as eating food in
India but it could be and every the
reason why I don’t go to any restaurant
anymore simply because every single
sauce loaded with sugar so you got some
meat in the sugar and then you have the
naan
you know what and you have all this
great spicy food it’s incredible but oh
my gosh they just didn’t have the sugar
to be so much better
they bring the rice right the rice is
always part of a yes and the bread in
and I would leave that restaurant
feeling completely and utterly stuffed
and bloated for the next day and just
like what was it worth it in ourselves
you would think that I would just like
know for a fact but you know that was I
used to frequently go to those
restaurants and also all-you-can-eat
buffets unless this was a very bad in
the US because they have all-you-can-eat
that’s they even salad if you go to
salad bar so the event is Alicia’s salad
so the little came to know that the even
table racks I was born named them but
they have their salary it is capsicum
the protectors I’m not that spicy to
your thumb but why are they so cycling
uses at home the reason is that they
just run through sugar water and that
will be a solution so it’s a big no-no
to add salad go outside go in that’s
interesting and then also if you in
Meyer is like in Virginia and Marcia you
see they have a lot of Peruvian places
where it said if chicken places and iron
they basically put the reason why it’s
so delicious and they have a line
outside it’s because they load with like
a tremendous amount of monosodium
glutamate they put that in the eighth
and they make it taste really good but
you’re going to get so fast because
you’re going to spike insulin so yeah
it’s amazing but your before and after
is just incredible so you did really
well and I’m just amazed at the
transformation creme de yes I and it was
only with diet so I think that that’s
that’s the piece which everyone misses
the dice pot yes yeah they said well I’m
just going to eat what I want and
exercise more well good luck on that one
right so but anyway I wanted to just
thank you for taking this interview and
I think we have a great story I think
it’s going to motivate other people just
because you don’t look unhealthy and you
look like you’re energetic you’re not
starving between meals
you don’t crave sweets anymore and you
didn’t even have to exercise yet so who
wouldn’t want to do that that’s
a–that’s a booklet like yeah right I
know yes
yeah well thank you so much for doing
this interview and maybe we’ll do a
follow up in the future and just when
you take to the next level and we’ll see
we’ll go from there absolutely has so
nice to see you life doctor blow it out
my pleasure
yeah that’s great well thank you so much
and have a wonderful day
yeah you too okay see ya
