you know there’s a really interesting

study that i saw recently on salt it’s

actually a low salt diet that increases

your risk for a heart attack so if

you’re consuming less than just one

teaspoon a day your risk for heart

attack goes up however your risk goes

down

if you increase your salt intake to two

teaspoons per day now this especially

applies to those of you on a ketogenic

diet because when you start the keto

plan you lose a lot of fluid however

this does not apply to those people who

retain fluid

like those on a high carbohydrate diet

so up your salt a little bit if you want

to decrease your risk of a heart attack
